Japan is a beautiful country. With many different things you could do, and I will give a brief rundown
on what you can expect if you visit Japan.
The country is pretty, perhaps the architecture, or maybe even the fact that the streets are pristine, which adds to the cleaniness of Japan, everyone in Japan is very kind and courteous; on train, it is very quiet, children are hush, and everyone is maintaining the silence.
The food is delicious, ranging from staples such as Ramen and Sushi, there are also many more regional delicacies that may have flown under the radar, such as Okonomiyaki; a savour pancake that is filled with whatever you like, meat, seafood, cheese, anything!
On top of food, there is also various events you can observe, such as Sakura Viewing, or even Natsu Matsuri, Summer Festivals, which are akin to Singaporean Pasar Malams, where food is served by the road, and you wear a yukata, a Japanese garment and eat to your heart's content.
Decades old buildings still stand tall, blending together the old and new, as right next to it, may well be a building of modern wonder. Not to mention, the flowers and fauna in Japan look out of this world, with flowers dyed in colors you will not find anywhere else, as well as massive gardens, the size of several city blocks!
If you like shopping, Japan boasts many international chains, as well as home based shops, ranging from clothes in Harajuku, to any electronics you can think of in Akihabara! There is something to find for everyone!
